Cuchara Mountain Park is seeking enthusiastic, detail-oriented individuals for our Ticket Sales team. As a Guest Services Agent in the Ticket Office, you are the first point of contact for our visitors, playing a crucial role in starting their mountain experience on a positive note. This is a rewarding winter seasonal job perfect for those with strong communication skills and a passion for providing world-class service.
Sales and Transactions (High Volume):
Accurately and efficiently process sales of lift tickets, season passes, lesson packages, and various resort products using a specialized Point of Sale (POS) system.
Handle cash, credit card, and voucher transactions while adhering strictly to all cash handling procedures and end-of-day balancing protocols.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge to explain pricing, promotions, and packages (e.g., beginner packages, multi-day discounts).
Guest Services and Information:
Serve as a primary Guest Services Agent, greeting and assisting all visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Answer in-person and phone inquiries regarding resort operations, snow conditions, hours, events, and mountain policies.
Assist with the printing, re-issuing, and verification of season passes and RFID media.
Operational Flow:
Help manage lines during peak periods to ensure a smooth, efficient flow of guests.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure Ticket Office workstation.
Promptly communicate any technical issues or complex guest complaints to the supervisory team for swift resolution.
Strong Customer Service Skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude in high-stress situations.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in cash handling and operating computerized POS systems.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and remain detail-oriented in a busy environment.
Must be reliably available to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as these are peak times for Ticket Sales.
Prior experience in retail, banking, or a high-volume Frontline Sales Position.
Familiarity with the structure and products of a Ski Resort.
