What they will learn

For the purposes of these lessons, a beginner is specifically defined as someone who has never skied or snowboarded before. These introductory sessions are designed to move students through the fundamental stages of progression, starting with first-timer basics like equipment familiarity and moving on flat ground. As students gain confidence, they transition into "novice" and "advancing beginner" roles where they learn to side-slip, stop, and control speed using edge-control. The ultimate goal for a beginner-level student is to develop enough technical skill and slope etiquette to safely link turns and navigate green circle terrain independently.
